Providing Personalized Oral Surgery Services with the Latest Dental Technology
Welcome to Center for Oral Reconstruction & Education
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Bao-Thy N. Grant and Dr. James Mergelmeyer, practice a full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, specializing in wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone reconstruction, and oral pathology. Our practice is known for being friendly, giving, and hardworking because we are a patient-centered and service-oriented team. We encourage our patients to ask questions, so they are confident in their oral surgery experience. As the CORE team, we dedicate ourselves to helping patients achieve long-term oral health and improve their quality of life.
Emergencies happen, and we take it upon ourselves to be prepared. Our well-trained staff are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Our practice also has a specially designed emergency crash cart, which carries medication and equipment (such as our Automated External Defibrillators or AEDs) for life support protocols. This helps our doctors save time and therefore lives. We thank you for trusting us with your care.
To increase your comfort during your visit, we offer amenities, including water, coffee, and blankets. After a procedure, we provide Jamba Juice Gift Cards for kids as well as send all patients home with a care package containing reusable ice packs, sterile gauze, and printed post-op instructions to aid your ease and comfort.
Yomi Dental Implants Robot
Providing robotic guidance during surgery, Yomi – the first FDA approved robot – combines your surgeon’s skill with the benefits of robotic surgery by enhancing precision and accuracy. In addition to implementation during surgery, Bao-Thy N. Grant, DDS is also aided by Yomi in the planning of your implant surgery.
Dental Implants and Bone Grafting
If you’re missing a tooth, we have the expertise to build up your jaw in preparation for getting a dental implant, using advanced bone grafting techniques. Once grafting and jaw restoration are complete, our doctors carefully craft implants and place them with precision. A dental implant will allow you to eat, speak, and chew normally just as your natural teeth do. Find out if you are a candidate for an implant and if you will need a bone grafting procedure beforehand! Call us for a consultation!
Wisdom Teeth REmoval
If you haven’t scheduled a wisdom teeth consultation and your child is between the ages of 17-25, now is the optimal time to meet with us! This period – while the roots are still developing, and the wisdom teeth have not impacted the mouth – is the easiest time for removal. Call us now for a wisdom teeth evaluation!
Your mouth is one of your body’s most important warning systems that signal the condition of your overall health. We recommend regular mouth self-evaluations because of early detection of the slightest possibility of oral cancer can significantly reduce the need for more invasive treatment in the future. If you have any unusual lumps or sores, please don’t hesitate to call us!
